UPDATE ON MAKKAH LIFT ACCIDENT, NAME, PHOTOS OF HAJI MARTYRED IN LIFT CRASH 2024 | मक्का लिफ्ट दुर्घटना:

Two Indian Hajj pilgrims died yesterday when an elevator they were in crashed in Aziziyah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

मक्का में हुई लिफ्ट दुर्घटना में भारत के 2 हाजी की दुखद मृत्यु हो गई। पवित्र स्थल के पास स्थित एक आवासीय इमारत में यह दुर्घटना हुई, जहां हजारों हाजी ठहरे हुए थे। मशीनरी की खराबी के कारण लिफ्ट गिरने से यह हादसा हुआ। आपातकालीन सेवाएं तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची, लेकिन हाजी को बचाया नहीं जा सका। हाजी के परिवार और साथी हाजियों में शोक की लहर है। इस घटना ने मक्का में तीर्थयात्रियों की सुरक्षा पर गंभीर सवाल उठाए हैं।

The martyred pilgrims were Md. Siddiq (74) from Kathihar district and Md. Abdul Lateef (64) from Kishanganj, both in Bihar, India. They had been residing in building No. 145.

In another incident, two more pilgrims from Telangana also met their death in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia where one fell down the elevator shaft and died and another got crushed between the doorways of the elevator.

Although there have been rumors of other casualties among some Hajj pilgrims but it has now turned out that no one was injured by accident because everybody else is still alive.

Name and Photos of Haji Martyred in Lift Crash Accident

The names of those martyred are Md. Siddiq (74) from Kathihar district and Md. Abdul Lateef (64) from Kishanganj, both in Bihar, India. They had been residing in building No. 145.

At this time Indian authorities have not yet released any official statement regarding this matter.

Other occupants of the building were transferred to a temporary accommodation nearby on the same night.

The Bihari Hajis had been grumbling about poor facilities at their place of abode.

According to recent reports from India’s Ministry for External Affairs, approximately four hundred accommodations situated within Makkah near Aziziyah were taken up by Indian authorities as identified by a team led by CEO of the Hajj Committee and coordinated with Indian Consulate General Jeddah.
